Attention New Attorneys:
Don't Miss the Transitional Legal Education Seminar Next Week!
For many years, the Memphis Bar Association has offered the "Nuts & Bolts of Practice in Shelby County Courts" to new attorneys. This year, the MBA has partnered with the Tennessee Bar Association, given the seminar a new name and expanded its range of topics. Join us, prior to the YLD Annual Meeting, on November 19th at 1 pm at the Shelby County Courthouse in Room 330 for "Transitional Legal Education." Among the highlights of the seminar, you will hear from judges representing General Sessions Civil, Probate, Circuit and Chancery Courts and have the opportunity to be sworn in before these local courts. After the seminar, you can accompany the group to the Rendezvous for the YLD Annual Meeting. Registration is available through both the MBA (www.memphisbar.org ) and TBA websites (www.tba.org ), or for more information, call 901.527.3573.
